The Boost Creep Ltd is becoming Northern Colorado's foremost dyno
tuning facility and the home of Harvey, one of Colorado's most
experienced tuners.
I offer extensive experience in building, tuning, and maintaining all
sorts of cars. Originally my area of expertise was with the muscle
cars in my hometown, but the Subaru turbocharged platform has become
my new area. I hope to expand and be known for any make or model
performance calibrations. I love to tune, regardless of brand or
output level. It is a passion I have had since watching drag racing on
television in the seventies. Every engine, including yours, is very
important to me. I know how to tickle them and get them to let me know
what they like and don't like without causing harm. I have lost count
of the number of cars tuned, but it lies north of 1000.
I know how to tune many different standalone systems including
Autronic, MoTeC, Hydra, Link, Vi-Pec, etc. I know reflashing utilities
such as the AccesTuner or ECUflash and can also handle systems like
the Predator or EFI Live. I also know many different engines and have
experience with calibrating 1 to 12 cylinder engines. I am happy to
work with new interface and systems as I understand the basics behind
all of them. Most are MAP or MAF sensor based and the underlying
principles are always the same.
I have been dyno tuning cars full time for over 4 years. I have gotten
as busy as an average of 3 cars per day at times. The whole time I was
tuning, I was aware that things could be much better. With the setup
of this shop, things will be far better. I am offering better tuning
services than previously possible. The layout of the dyno is
perfected. The makeup airflow is tuneable and overbuilt. I am located
off I-25 in an industrial zone near a steep uphill with a 75 mph limit
and multiple entrance and exit ramps for low speed testing. I can make
all sorts of noise all the time. The setup I have laid out allows for
truly efficient use of dyno time. I will also road test most customer
cars. Airflow is amazing. Setup is shorter than ever. And I am running
the show.
Tuning is either by the hour or by the map, please call, email, or come by for a quote. Pricing will be $175 per hour. Maps for common
reflash systems will be $350 for the first map, and $175 for the
second when made during the same session. Uncommon systems and setups
will need to be charged by the hour.
I am open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and either Saturday or
Sunday by appointment, from 9-5. I take Thursdays off to spend time
